Stainresistant travertine slabs are advanced natural stone products designed to prevent permanent discoloration from spills like coffee, wine, and oil, ideal for high-risk areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, restaurants, and hotel lobbies. GHY STONE, a leading stone manufacturer since 1992, develops these slabs through selective sourcing, dual filling, and dual sealing. Sourced from quarries in Turkey’s Denizli (uniform pores), Italy’s Tivoli (fine-grained), and Iran’s Naein (low absorption), the travertine meets benchmarks: density 2.65–2.7 g/cm³, compressive strength ≥120 MPa, water absorption ≤2.5% (ASTM C97), pore size ≤0.1mm. Fabrication includes CNC cutting, two-step filling (cement-based for large pores, resin with hydrophobic additives for micro-pores, reducing porosity to ≤0.3%), grinding (400–3000 grit), and dual sealing (penetrating sealer bonds with minerals; topical sealer repels liquids, cured at 70–80°C for 48h). Finishes are honed (hides stains), polished (repels liquids), and brushed (slip-resistant). Testing (ASTM C1370, water beading) ensures no staining. Colors like Beige StainResist (hides food spills), Gray StainResist (resists soap scum), Ivory StainResist (bright, hides minor stains), and Brown StainResist (hides outdoor dirt) offer consistency (ΔE ≤1.0). Daily cleaning uses damp cloth; stubborn stains need pH-neutral cleaner. Resealing every 36–48 months. Sustainable practices include quarry reforestation, waste recycling, and low-VOC sealants. These slabs deliver durability and aesthetics, aligning with GHY STONE’s premium standards.
